The PICC is a landmark infrastructure in the Philippines. The convention center has undergone modernization programs in 2000-2005 to address the increasing demand for the use of the facility. Majority of the connecting buildings of the complex were rehabilitated under the management and supervision of Eng’r. Edgardo C. Rodriguez.
