Engr. Edgardo C. Rodriguez is the President-CEO and Founder of the E&R Builders and Management Services, Inc. (ERBMSI)/ER Construction Project Managers. He has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years representing the Owners and Prestigious Institutions like the Coca-Cola Bottlers Phils., Inc. as the Project Manager/Team Leader of its Super Plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. He was the Project Manager and Team Leader of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)’s Master Plan projects and was concurrent, Deputy Director of Operations for the Minting and Gold Refinery Operations of BSP. He had completed numerous projects in BSP’s Security Plant Complex (SPC) in Quezon, City. He then joined the MVP Group of Hospitals as its Vice-President, for Projects and Facilities Management Operations to lead the modernization and complete rehabilitation of big hospitals under MPIC Group all over the country. After his stint with the MPIC Group, he joined the Mount Grace Hospitals under the Unilab Group of Hospitals as Vice-President and Group Director for Operations, again to lead a group of professionals and engineers in its hospitals Upgrading and Modernization to ensure clients satisfaction and unique care for patients.
Ed’s passion is deeply rooted in his work Attitude, Determination and Philosophy towards the delivery of Excellent Results in every task and assignments entrusted to him by his superiors from his early years as an Engineer. Persistency, Work Ethics and Hard work are key components to his career advancement and to continuously improve his given talents and skills which made him a good Leader and Manager in almost all aspects of delivering best results to his superiors including internal and external clients. He always practices, thinking ten times ahead and use intelligent assumptions on the scope of his deliverables to ensure positive results.
Ed had managed and completed numerous high profile projects in his previous affiliations like the Coca-Cola Super Plant in Sta. Rosa, considered to be the biggest in Asia and in Europe. The Master Plan Projects of BSP, where it saved hundreds of millions of pesos in its Cash Management Operations in the Consolidation and Distribution Systems of its banknotes and coin produced denominations for the receiving commercial banks clients. The modern and big hospitals and healthcare facilities in the country to cater to all Clientele and all levels of satisfied patients and clients Indeed, Ed has gone full circle in his career as Owner’s Representative from his positions and level of responsibility entrusted to him.
ER Construction Project Managers has managed and completed Quality projects and counting like the Diversified 52 projects of De La salle University in their two campuses, in Manila and in a 54-Hectare DLSU Complex in Laguna. The A-One, 53-Storey Tri-Tower link to Makati City Subway located in the Makati Business District in Makati City, the Unilever State of the Art Manufacturing Plant in Cabuyao Laguna, the Seven (7)-Tower, 15-Storey Manila Bay Residences owned by Tambo Realty Corporation along the NAIA Road, Paranaque, City, the College of St. Benilde Campus in Antipolo, City, the Mazda Logistics Center, Admin, Training and Warehouse building in Laguna, the Jollibee Logistics Center in Cebu, City, the Richmond Plaza, Mixed-Use 16-Storey plus penthouse facility in Laguna, and the 54-MW completion to provide Electricity and Livelihood to Panay Island with its Wind Turbine Generator Power Plant are some of its notable projects our company was entrusted to manage.
He has a Degree from Polytechnic University of the Philippines of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is a Registered Electrical Engineer. He has a Masteral Degree of Master of Science in Technology at the Technological University of the Philippines. He has a Masteral Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and earned PhD units in Urban and Regional Planning in University of the Philippines School of Urban and Regional Planning in UP Diliman. While leading a big group professionals and engineers in his corporate world and affiliations, he has in mind to advance and continue further studies on financial and general management, real estate and architectural and land development. He passed and became a qualified candidate to attend the prestigious Executive Education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design to hone his general and financial management skills, expertise and prepare himself for this current dynamically changing and challenging environments responsibilities and in the future.
